Schenectady, N.Y — SI Group is a global company with operations on five continents.  During this international health crisis, SI Group’s focus is on the safety and security of the company’s headquarters staff and team members worldwide.  Of course, we understand and support this priority.  We have been in constant communication with SI Group officials and have worked as a team with them during this difficult time.  We support the decision to retain the company’s corporate headquarters at the existing Niskayuna campus.

We thank the Galesi Group, CBRE Albany, the Golub Corporation, Schenectady County and City officials and leaders in the Town of Niskayuna for working as a unified economic development team to provide cost effective alternatives to SI Group as they searched for a new headquarters and lab facility.  We remain committed to doing everything possible to retain and grow jobs in Schenectady County even during difficult times.
