Earlier this summer elected officials from the State, Schenectady County and Town of Rotterdam cut the ribbon on the Galesi Group’s new Small Business Center at the Rotterdam Corporate Park. The renovation project included dividing a 270,000 square foot building into 24 sections each consisting of approximately 11,000 square feet designed to meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses. Each section has a new “storefront” entrance that opens into an office and/or showroom which can be built to meet the specific needs of prospective tenants. The south side of the building features new docks and overhead doors which lead into an area that is ideal for a wide array of light assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse applications. Economic assistance for this project was made available by Empire State Development’s Restore New York Program and National Grid as well as administrative support by the Town of Rotterdam.
The Rotterdam Corporate Park is the largest business park in the Capital Region with more than 4 million square feet of space. For more information, see www.galesi.com.
