Glenville, NY (July 31, 2014) – Richmor Aviation began construction today on a new $1.2 million, 20,000 square foot hangar with a “Steel Up” ceremony held at the Schenectady County Airport.
Anthony Jasenski, Chairman of the Schenectady County Legislature said, “Schenectady County thanks Richmor Aviation for its continued partnership at our County Airport and this $1.2 million investment. This new hanger will allow Richmor and the County to meet the growing needs of our business community.”
Richmor began operating at the Schenectady County Airport in 1975 and has proudly served the aviation community ever since. The new hangar, to be built by Plank Construction based in Schenectady, will double Richmor’s business aircraft hangar capacity.
