The City of Schenectady, Metroplex and Laz Parking announced today that parking is free in downtown Schenectady on Thursday, March 13 from noon to 6 pm.

With a sold-out matinee performance of Book of Mormon scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday, show-goers and visitors should find plenty of parking spaces to enjoy lunch, see the show and stay afterwards for dinner.

All on-street metered parking spaces will be free of charge starting at noon and continuing to 6 pm. Parking is also free at all Metroplex parking lots and the Metroplex Parking Garage on Broadway from noon to 6 pm.
