The Capital Region, including Schenectady County, hope to enter Phase 2 of the reopening process this week.  The target date for Phase 2 reopening is Wednesday June 3rd.

The Governor’s Office has released the guidelines and business safety templates for industries allowed to reopen in Phase 2.

Eligible businesses must complete a safety plan to be kept on premises; a suggested template can be found here.

The following industry-specific guidelines have been issued for businesses eligible for Phase 2 reopening:

• Offices
• Real Estate 
• Essential and Phase Two Retail
• Vehicle Sales, Leases, and Rentals
• Retail Rental, Repair, and Cleaning
