On Wednesday November 20th at 11:00a.m., J Luke Construction, Hodorowski Homes, and Paragon Companies will host a community celebration featuring an open house, ribbon cutting and refreshments providing dignitaries and visitors alike a sneak peek of ‘245 Broadway’, a premier luxury apartment community with attractive retail space located in the heart of downtown Schenectady.
Completed in November of 2013, the site is located across from Villa Italia Bakery and within walking distance to numerous casual and fine dining establishments, shopping, as well as arts and educational facilities including Proctors, Union College and The Bow Tie Cinemas.
The luxurious apartment units feature attractive prices with high end amenities that include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, engineered hardwood flooring, and washers and dryers in every unit. The 6,822 square feet of retail space on the ground floor will contribute to the beautification and vitality at the corners of Hamilton and Broadway in the downtown area.
“This new facility is exactly the type of revitalization that is helping bring Schenectady back to life,” said Ray Gillen, Chair, Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority.
“These beautiful apartments continue the progress of our downtown revitalization efforts,” said County Legislator Marty Finn, Chair of the Legislature’s Committee on Economic Development. “These apartments will bring more people into our downtown and we thank John Hodorowksi for making this $3 million investment in Schenectady County.”
The principal owners include the Hodorowski Family and Paragon Companies. The Hodorowski family has more than 41 collective years of experience in the residential building industry with experience spanning all facets of home-building, ranging from land development to real estate sales. Paragon Companies has more than 20 years of commercial real estate finance and property management experience having helped finance, develop, and / or manage over 3,000 multifamily units.
