While our previous COVID updates have focused on business assistance programs, we wanted you to be aware of a rental assistance program that began taking applications yesterday.  The new program provides support for individuals and families who rent their homes or apartments and may need assistance due to lost income resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.  It is funded through the Coronavirus Relief Fund, which is part of the CARES Act, and is administered by New York State Homes and Community Renewal.  For more information and application materials, click here.
