Starting on Saturday, July 16, 2016, milling and paving of downtown Schenectady City Streets to interrupt normal traffic flows.
“Callanan Industries of Schenectady, N.Y. will be milling and paving the following streets requiring temporary changes in traffic patterns.”
On Saturday July 16th starting at 5AM – State Street between Nott Terrace and Erie Boulevard will be closed to westbound traffic and detoured to Liberty Street for milling and paving. Work is expected to be completed by 6PM Saturday.
On Monday July 18th – Broadway between Liberty Street and State Street will be closed between the hours of 5AM – 6PM for an approximate three day period for roadwork with paving expected to be performed on Saturday July 25th, 2016.
Also starting on Monday July 18th, Clinton Street between State Street and Franklin Street will be closed to all traffic for an appriximate 2 week period for utility work, milling and paving. Access to parking lots will not be available from Clinton Street.
Drivers should consider alternate routes during these time periods.
